Growing up in Hamblen County and attending our schools, I know how important public education is to our community and our future. I ran for school board to bring change to our school board. It's going to take bold ideas, participation from our educators, parents and students, and new approaches; we can build schools that translate to a strong future. We need a champion, and I want to be that champion so that our students can do more than just get ahead but stay ahead. When our students are strong, our future is strong.

Jerrod is working to be the most accessible school board member. If you have an issue with school board policy or state policy - schedule a time to chat with Jerrod. Educators - if you have a problem that needs to be addressed, please use this link to schedule a meeting.

Jerrod wants to attend as many events as possible. If you are an educator, sponsor or administrator at Russellville, Union Heights, Whitesburg, East Ridge or East High, and you have a public event or fundraiser, please submit it.

Jerrod has pledged to not take a single dollar in payment for his position. Instead, he wants to invest this money into the schools he represents via fundraisers and sponsorships. Submit a request for review.
